Pickleball Rules - for Open Play

When the courts are full and others are waiting.

• Courts 1, 2, 3, and 7 & 8 (on the Darien Courts) are 4 players on / 4 players off.

• There will be a rack to place your paddles in, and a marker to signify who is up on the next open court. Order is left to right, then start over on the left. This format is open to all levels of play.
  

• Courts 4, 5, and 6 are LEVEL PLAY challenge courts.
  The levels will be set by the Court Ambassador based on the level of the players in attendance, as a general rule it will be:

  - 3.5 on court #4
  - 4.0 on court #5
  - 4.5 on court #6

• Courts are limited to 1 game to 11 (win by 2)

• Waiting players must place their paddles next to the end gate of the court they wish to play on.

• If there are 2 or 3 paddles present waiting to play, 2 new people will enter for the next game, and the 2 existing winning players will stay for 1 additional game.

• These rules do not necessarily apply during Roaring Fork Pickleball Association (RFPA) court time. See the schedule and details below. Non-RFPA members may pay a drop-in fee if RFPA events allow.

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 8AM – 12PM.

• Tuesday and Thursday 5PM – Dark.

  October 15 – April 14

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10AM – 2PM.

• Tuesday and Thursday 5PM – Dark.
